Drop Hammers For Drilled Cast-In-Situ Foundations

La versión en español de esta página está en construcción.  Solicitamos que nuestros clientes hispanohablantes nos contacten directamente vía email.  Gracias.

Various drop hammer systems are routinely used for testing drilled shafts, bored piles, and augercast (CFA) piles. The hammer mass may be made out of steel or heavily reinforced concrete, and is usually guided to assure concentric impact. It is lifted, supported by a the frame, and then released either by a mechanical trip device, by cutting a support cable, or by releasing hydraulic jaws. These systems may test pile or shaft capacities up to about 100 times the hammer weight.
